The Role

We invite applications for the role of Duty Manager, ideal candidates with at least one year of management experience in a high-volume hospitality setting. This position demands a positive approach, a strong commitment to outstanding customer service, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, legal eligibility to work in New Zealand, and either possession or willingness to obtain a current LCQ and manager's certificate.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily venue operations, including monitoring staff performance, customer satisfaction, and quality control across offerings.
• Ensure legal compliance with regulations, notably the Sale of Alcohol Act 2012.
• Support event coordination and manage group bookings.
• Manage financial aspects by controlling labor and goods costs effectively.
• Contribute to training and professional development of junior team members.
• Maintain consistent venue standards and presentation.
