Driver - Rear Lift Operator

About the Role

Join our innovative Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) team in Warrnambool as a Rear Lift Operator, contributing to sustainable container recycling efforts. You will be responsible for operating rear lift collection vehicles, conducting daily prestart and equipment maintenance checks, and transporting collected containers to designated recycling and disposal facilities. This role emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining compliance with relevant fatigue management regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and drive rear lift collection trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment prestart inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Deliver collected loads promptly to specified recycling and waste disposal centers.
• Follow all fatigue management guidelines and safety regulations.
• Uphold a professional company image and provide excellent customer interaction at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence with proven driving experience.
• Maintain a clean and valid driving record.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
• Dedicated to workplace safety with a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
• Readiness to complete pre-employment medical assessments including drug and alcohol testing.
