Truck Driver - Waste Collection

Position Overview

Cleanaway Waste Management is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious truck driver to join our team in Newman, Western Australia. This full-time permanent role involves operating company collection vehicles to transport waste materials responsibly while ensuring outstanding customer service and vehicle upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks and equipment safely on daily waste collection routes.
• Perform routine pre-start vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Load, transport, and unload waste materials efficiently and securely.
• Uphold professional appearance and cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout collections.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a reliable, team-oriented driver with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Requirements

• Possession of an unrestricted HR or MC driver’s license.
• Willingness and capability to operate a variety of trucks.
• Previous experience in the waste industry is highly advantageous.
• Forklift license is a plus but not essential.
• Clean driving record and professional presentation.
• Positive attitude focused on safety and teamwork.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
