Job description
Position Overview
Cleanaway Waste Management is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious truck driver to join our team in Newman, Western Australia. This full-time permanent role involves operating company collection vehicles to transport waste materials responsibly while ensuring outstanding customer service and vehicle upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company trucks and equipment safely on daily waste collection routes.
- Perform routine pre-start vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Load, transport, and unload waste materials efficiently and securely.
- Uphold professional appearance and cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout collections.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a reliable, team-oriented driver with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Requirements
- Possession of an unrestricted HR or MC driver’s license.
- Willingness and capability to operate a variety of trucks.
- Previous experience in the waste industry is highly advantageous.
- Forklift license is a plus but not essential.
- Clean driving record and professional presentation.
- Positive attitude focused on safety and teamwork.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
