Draftsman Cutting List

Job Overview

BlueLine Interiors LLC is seeking a skilled Draftsman specializing in Cutting Lists to support joinery, furniture manufacturing, and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the preparation of precise cutting lists and ensure seamless coordination across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Cutting List to manage project timelines, priorities, and workflows.
• Develop and issue accurate cutting lists for all project components derived from approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Analyze manufacturing details and methods to generate precise cutting lists and 3D sketches aligned with the approved Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and shop drawings.
• Coordinate effectively with the Production Department to clarify manufacturing instructions and facilitate smooth production processes.
• Work with Procurement to ensure timely acquisition of materials, accessories, glass, metal, ironmongery, and samples.
• Verify the accuracy of drawings and cutting lists, proactively identifying any mismatches before production begins.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of drawings, cutting lists, and their revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in joinery, furniture making, or fit-out projects.
• Strong familiarity with shop drawings, bills of quantities (BOQ), cutting lists, and manufacturing techniques.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; additional knowledge of 3D design software is advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail coupled with strong coordination capabilities.
• Experience working within the UAE joinery or furniture manufacturing sector is preferred.

Compensation

The offered monthly salary ranges between 3000 to 5000 AED.
