Role Overview

We are hiring a full-time qualified Dog Groomer for our Tallaght Belgard location. As a Groomer, you will develop strong connections with customers and their pets by delivering personalized grooming experiences tailored to each animal’s style and personality. This role demands pride in service, from initial shampoo through to the pet's contented departure.

Candidate Profile

• Willing to work full-time across five days including weekends with flexible availability
• Hold prior practical experience in a grooming salon or possess QQI Level 6 Dog Grooming or City & Guilds qualifications
• Skilled in grooming and clipping a variety of dog breeds to a high standard
• Professional and approachable, able to communicate confidently with clients and colleagues to build trust
• Efficient time management skills, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks independently within given deadlines
• A strong passion for animals, comfortable handling all sizes and breeds with genuine care
• Self-motivated learner enthusiastic about personal development and pursuing a long-term career in grooming

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with pet owners, providing grooming advice and related product recommendations
• Deliver outstanding customer service by consistently executing high-quality grooming services
• Engage in proactive follow-up with clients post-appointment to ensure satisfaction and promptly address feedback
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic grooming environment, including disinfecting equipment and laundering materials
• Promote grooming services and offer specialist product knowledge to customers to enhance their experience
