About the Role
Joining a prominent electronics manufacturing company based in Shannon, this Document Specialist position focuses on supporting the launch and continuous improvement of new products. The role requires close collaboration with teams including Production, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Testing, and Sales to coordinate product changes and guarantee that all documentation complies with applicable standards and market regulations.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining compliant product documentation such as labels, packaging materials, user manuals, and datasheets.
- Managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system tailored to specified markets.
- Working alongside graphic designers to verify that packaging content is both precise and adheres to compliance requirements.
- Coordinating with international sales offices to confirm the accuracy and validity of product documents.
- Evaluating change requests and determining realistic timelines for their execution.
- Documenting and disseminating any product changes to relevant parties.
- Providing support to production teams by assisting in implementing changes and addressing daily inquiries.
- Ensuring all documentation fulfills European standards and local legal mandates.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Business & Law, or another related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience related to New Product Introduction (NPI), product implementation, manufacturing, or a similar area.
- Background in electronics or high-volume manufacturing is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong focus on detail combined with capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and enterprise systems.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively across diverse departments.
- Knowledge of the German language is a desirable advantage.
