About the Role
We are seeking a Site Manager to oversee cleanroom operations for a leading biopharmaceutical client based in South Galway. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring consistent operational delivery, maintaining strict cleanliness and regulatory compliance within a controlled manufacturing environment. Your leadership will focus on managing gowning and hygiene protocols while guaranteeing adherence to ISO classifications and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all site operations to meet work, quality, and financial objectives.
- Introduce and promote additional services at the site.
- Serve as the primary contact for client communications, fostering quality partnerships and promptly resolving issues or complaints.
- Rectify any quality discrepancies immediately and participate actively in client meetings to suggest improvements and provide feedback.
- Manage multiple priorities flexibly and proactively with hands-on decision-making.
- Oversee budgeting activities to maximize efficiency, ensure payroll accuracy, and analyze KPI reports.
- Lead the health and safety culture at the site by enforcing policies, conducting risk assessments, and investigating incidents alongside the safety officer.
- Directly manage cleanroom operations staff, ensuring compliance with cGMP and GDP standards through coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, and training initiatives.
- Coordinate high-performing teams to meet scheduled clean requirements and maintain a people-centric work environment.
- Conduct performance appraisals and reviews, assist in onboarding, and ensure timely completion of mandatory training such as SOPs, CBTs, and ILCs.
- Identify staff training needs and liaise with HR on employee matters, including recruitment and selection as necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 3 years of management experience within a similar industry environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with fluency in English.
- Practical, detail-oriented approach with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
- Proficient computer skills and willingness to adapt fully to the role's demands.
- Experience or knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is highly advantageous.
