Job Summary

This full-time dishwasher position requires maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchenware, and work areas following established safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Scraping, rinsing, and washing dishes by hand or machine to ensure they are hygienically clean.
• Cleaning pots, pans, and trays following specified procedures, guaranteeing sanitation.
• Polishing silverware through various equipment and methods to maintain cleanliness.
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining proper chemical and temperature levels in dishwashing.
• Keeping dish areas organized and safe, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Disposing of trash properly and cleaning garbage containers.
• Assisting with transferring supplies and loading/unloading stock.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience is mandatory to be considered for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging between $16.50 and $17.00.

Additional Information

The work schedule includes full-time hours with shifts throughout the day and evening; specifics will be discussed during the interview. This position is located on site at George Fox University, 1400 East North Street, Newberg, OR 97132.
