Job Summary

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas, while following safety standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, and either hand wash or load them into dishwashing machines following assigned procedures.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays ensuring full sanitation.
• Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain specified temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keep dish areas organized and clean; sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet sanitation standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other preparation surfaces.
• Take out trash and maintain garbage cans through steaming or hosing.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work locations; assist with loading and unloading products.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position located at Parker Cafe, 6035 Parkland Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44124. Workdays are Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. There are no night or weekend shifts.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.00. Employees enjoy free parking and 13 paid holidays annually.
