Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, kitchen areas, and equipment at our NBCUniversal location in Universal City, CA. This opportunity offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $26.25 to $27.25, along with an internal employee referral bonus.

Work Schedule and Location

The position is based at 100 University City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608. The shift runs Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. More details will be provided during the interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes either by hand or using dishwashing equipment to ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures to maintain sanitation standards.
• Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths depending on procedures.
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain correct temperatures and chemical levels as per operational standards.
• Keep dishwashing areas organized and compliant with safety regulations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold sanitation standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Remove trash, place it in designated containers, and clean trash cans by steaming or hosing out.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and workstations.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications

Candidates must have prior experience working in high-volume dishwashing environments to be eligible for this role.
