Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen equipment, work areas, and utensils to ensure a safe and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove food residue from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or using dishwashing machines as assigned, ensuring thorough sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays following established procedures for complete cleanliness.
• Polish silverware using various equipment or by hand according to protocols, ensuring sanitary condition.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain safety compliance in the dish area.
• Monitor and maintain required chemical levels and temperatures to meet standards.
• Maintain a tidy work area and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet sanitation and safety requirements.
• Clean work surfaces such as tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks used in food preparation.
• Manage trash removal, including steam cleaning or hosing out garbage bins.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading inventory and supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Information

• Location: Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital - 10301 Jeffreys Street, Henderson, NV 89052.
• Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday; hours may vary and some weekends may be included. Specific details will be provided during the interview.
• Rate of Pay: $17.00 per hour.
• No prior experience is required for this position.
