Job Summary

The role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove food residues from dishes by scraping and rinsing; wash dishes manually or load them onto dishwashing equipment ensuring thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays according to specified procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
• Polish silverware utilizing various equipment and techniques including burnishing machines and chemical dips, ensuring spotless results.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols in work areas.
• Maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels as per specified guidelines.
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas organized and compliant with safety requirements.
• Perform floor cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping to uphold sanitation standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other preparation surfaces regularly.
• Manage waste by disposing of trash properly, cleaning garbage containers via steaming or hosing.
• Assist with moving supplies and equipment between storage and workstations as needed.
• Help with loading and unloading of products and supplies.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen settings is necessary.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position based at New England BioLabs, Ipswich, MA with working hours from Monday to Friday between 6:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Further details will be shared during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour.
