Dishwasher - Full Time

About the Role and Company

We are seeking to fill a full-time Dishwasher position at Eurest located at Danfoss - 2800 East 13th Street, Ames, IA 50010. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM, with weekends off and no late-night shifts. Paid holidays are also provided. Responsibilities

• Remove food debris from dishes and wash using either hand-washing techniques or automated dishwashing machines based on assigned equipment.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays according to procedural standards to ensure thorough sanitation.
• Polish silverware using burnishers, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths as required to maintain cleanliness.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and maintain required temperatures and chemical levels for sanitation.
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas organized and compliant with safety regulations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to meet sanitation standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Dispose of trash properly including steam cleaning or hosing out garbage containers.
• Assist with transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, including loading and unloading as needed.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned to support kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dishwashing role is preferred but not mandatory.
