Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role supports the kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize various kitchen areas such as work surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
- Manage and safely handle cleaning supplies.
- Receive deliveries, unpack, and properly store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage locations.
- Dispose of kitchen garbage and waste efficiently.
- Sharpen kitchen knives regularly.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish the floors to maintain hygiene standards.
- Wash, peel, and prepare vegetables and fruits as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Operations in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
Experience and Training
No prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided. This position is suitable for individuals without any formal degree, certificate, or diploma.
Employment Terms
- Permanent role with 35 hours of work per week.
- Shifts during daytime hours and weekends.
