Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Dishwasher to join our team at the Delta location in Detroit, MI. The dishwasher will ensure all dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas remain clean and sanitized according to company and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove food debris from dishes and wash them either manually or using dishwashing machines, ensuring thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays following the prescribed procedures with complete sanitation.
• Polish silverware using various tools and techniques, including burnishing machines, chemical dips, and buffing wheels.
• Follow safety protocols meticulously in all tasks performed.
• Monitor and maintain required temperatures and chemical concentrations for cleaning agents.
• Keep dishwashing areas organized, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Clean various food preparation surfaces including worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Dispose of trash appropriately; sanitize and clean garbage containers regularly.
• Assist with moving supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help with loading and unloading supplies and products as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience working as a dishwasher is required.
• A commitment to maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.
• Willingness to work varying day schedules including weekends.

Compensation and Work Schedule

• Hourly wage is set at $17.75 per hour.
• Full-time schedule with hours and days potentially varying; weekend availability is necessary.
