Job Summary

This role is responsible for greeting and seating guests in the dining area, ensuring a pleasant and efficient dining experience. The Host/Hostess manages customer interactions, supervises food-service staff operations during shifts, and maintains cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and promptly seat guests based on table availability or preferences.
• Maintain a welcoming, clean, and safe dining environment for patrons and staff.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members, demonstrating patience and flexibility.
• Respect confidentiality concerning sensitive personal or medical information.
• Oversee the dining room staff to assure appropriate customer service and adherence to food handling and sanitation standards.
• Assist in training new food-service associates.
• Supervise closing procedures of the dining area including completing side work and resetting stations.
• Adhere to emergency protocols and assist in safe evacuations if required.
• Support service duties such as bussing tables and serving food while upholding safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate various equipment as needed, including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers.
• Collaborate with other departments during special events or daily operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, and food & beverage sectors is mandatory.
• Ability to work varying full-time schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to work harmoniously with others.
• High level of discretion when handling confidential information.

• Competitive fixed hourly wage of $28.00.
