Role Overview

A Dishwasher or Utility Person at Gator’s Dockside is tasked with maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in dishwashing and refuse areas. Reporting to management, the role requires adherence to company policies and procedures detailed in employee and training manuals. Dishwashers collaborate with managers and hourly employees to ensure a superior dining experience for guests.

Primary Duties

• Clean and sanitize various food service items such as plates, cutlery, pots, pans, and utensils using a three-compartment sink and/or dishwashing machinery.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, unsafe or unsanitary conditions directly to management staff including Kitchen Manager, Assistant Managers, and General Manager.
• Complete cleaning and organizational projects promptly as assigned by management in alignment with business requirements.
• Support food preparation duties during slower periods following company training and maintain valid food safety certification.
• Assist in cleaning and upkeep of all common restaurant areas including restrooms, dining room and kitchen floors, walls, shelves, sidewalks, windows, doors, gaming areas, beverage stations, carpets, tables, chairs, and cabinets.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.

Additional Information

Dishwashers must familiarize themselves with all operational policies and communicate effectively with management and staff. The role covers multiple cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to support guest satisfaction and restaurant safety.
