Director, Technical Consulting - Salesforce Enterprise Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking a Director in Technical Consulting within our Architects’ Practice to support global scaling of professional services delivery centers. This leadership position is instrumental in enabling, deploying, and nurturing the careers of our technical architect team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan resource capacity, recruit, train, and mentor Technical Architects, supporting their Certified Technical Architect (CTA) journey and upskilling in modern AI platforms.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients by guiding the rationalization and implementation of emerging technologies and enterprise AI architectures that enhance business value.
• Lead key internal initiatives to expand the Industries Architects consulting practice and contribute to shared community knowledge, especially advancing AI-First Delivery and Engineering methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to design technology architectures tailored to client requirements.
• Drive enterprise architecture and governance for client engagements, interacting with client enterprise architects and business leaders to develop scalable, AI-integrated architectural roadmaps.
• Facilitate functional and technical workshops, exhibiting leadership in design, delivery, testing, and deployment phases.
• Manage project teams focused on Salesforce Industries Clouds solutions, leveraging developer assistant tools to boost delivery speed and maintain platform security.
• Ensure project success with high customer satisfaction and positive business impact by partnering with clients to define performance evaluation frameworks measuring AI efficacy and business ROI.
• Negotiate solutions addressing complex challenges involving customers and third-party stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with client leadership, promoting best practices with Salesforce Financial Services Industry (SFI) and Salesforce implementations.
• Proactively identify and manage risks within solutions, committing to problem resolution through completion.

Essential Requirements

• More than 18 years of experience leading Salesforce technical consulting projects.
• Strong skills in application design complemented by expertise in data architecture, integration, and security.
• Proficient in Salesforce Industries Cloud, Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, Vlocity OmniStudio; familiarity with Agentforce is a plus.
• Experience in multiple industry domains such as Financial Services, Health & Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Automotive, Retail, and Consumer Goods.
• Must-have expertise in Integration Architecture, Platform Security, Sharing and Visibility, Data Architecture and Management, and Apex Design Patterns.
• Solid knowledge of Salesforce/Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning Web Components, and modern web/mobile technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Components.
• Fluency in English communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) designation.
• Salesforce certifications across Admin, Developer, Sales, Service Clouds, System and Application Architect.
• Experience as OmniStudio Developer or Consultant.
• Quick learner adept at mastering new technologies, business models, and generative AI delivery patterns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of tailoring materials to diverse audiences.
• Exceptional listening skills to engage with individuals in various roles effectively.
• Proven ability to analyze, design, and enhance business processes through technology and integrations.
