We seek a Director of Microsoft Engineering who is passionate about leading innovative cloud security initiatives and managing high-performing teams within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and cultivate high-performing teams by fostering empowerment, collaboration, and accountability.
- Shape and implement the strategic direction for Azure-based cloud security solutions incorporating emerging technologies and frameworks.
- Drive regional business expansion by meeting financial targets and enhancing team productivity.
- Collaborate closely with sales and presales teams to support Microsoft Azure opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, Microsoft, and internal stakeholders to improve outcomes.
- Provide thought leadership through authoring articles and presentations on Azure strategies and technologies.
- Create productized service offerings such as Azure presales materials, automated workflows, and marketplace listings.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant Azure certifications, for instance, Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, including enterprise landing zones, well-architected frameworks, data platforms, and cloud-native architectures.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience mentoring and motivating teams to achieve mutual success.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills to build and sustain relationships with senior business leaders and clients.
- Financial acumen with an emphasis on pricing strategies and driving business growth.
- Keen interest in innovation, continuous process improvements, and delivering results in dynamic environments.
Additional Requirements
This role requires Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain an Australian Security Clearance due to its sensitive nature.
