Role Overview

The Senior Manager will spearhead the Secure AI advisory practice, focusing on strategy, governance, risk management, and controls. This role involves collaborating with clients to strategically and securely implement AI technologies, ensuring alignment with security policies, regulatory mandates, and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advisory services focused on Secure AI strategy, risk management, and governance.
• Serve as a trusted consultant to senior leadership on AI-related risks, controls, and compliance concerns.
• Develop AI governance frameworks, control structures, and operational models.
• Conduct and oversee AI and model risk evaluations across generative AI and machine learning applications.
• Transform security and regulatory requirements into actionable AI control mechanisms.
• Manage complex AI assurance, compliance, and risk enhancement projects.
• Collaborate alongside delivery and engineering leaders to ensure strategy aligns with implementation.
• Engage in Secure AI presales activities, proposal development, and client executive communications.
• Lead commercial pricing, project planning, and quality assurance reviews for service delivery.
• Create thought leadership materials, intellectual property, and contribute to Secure AI service advancement.
• Mentor junior team members and foster their professional growth.
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration within CyberCX to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Promote communication and partnerships across business units to optimize customer engagement and service delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in risk management, cybersecurity, technology strategy, or consulting leadership roles.
• Robust knowledge in technology risk, cyber security, or enterprise IT architecture.
• Comprehensive understanding of AI, model risk management, and emerging risks associated with generative AI.
• Successful background advising executives and board members on risk frameworks and governance.
• Experience in designing and operationalizing risk and control frameworks.
• Proven capability engaging stakeholders across risk, legal, compliance, and technology domains.
• Experience operating in regulated or security-critical sectors.
• Knowledge of commercial pricing and management in consultancy or services-oriented organizations.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with AI model risk management frameworks.
• Expertise in established security and risk standards relevant to AI, such as NIST CSF, ISO27001/42001, CSA AICM.
• Understanding of AI-specific governance or control standards like NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS, and OWASP Top 10.
• Work experience in regulated or high-assurance sectors including finance, government, or critical infrastructure.
• Skills bridging risk, security, and engineering teams, particularly in stakeholder management or presales engagements.
• Relevant certifications in governance or security architecture (ISO Auditor, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF).
• Experience innovating security consulting processes including the use of AI tools, coding agents, and maintaining a portfolio of related code or workbench assets.
