Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction by developing verification strategies and architectures for intricate Edge AI digital designs, consulting extensively across projects and teams.
- Drive excellence and innovation by pioneering advanced verification methodologies and frameworks to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency, aiming for faultless chip production.
- Lead and manage a verification team working on numerous concurrent projects, optimizing resource allocation for scalable verification processes.
- Collaborate across departments, influencing verification decisions alongside design teams, product managers, executives, and coordinate with product test engineering, silicon validation, and software teams to ensure first-pass silicon success and efficient mass production.
- Address and resolve the most demanding verification challenges using specialized knowledge and inventive approaches.
- Mentor verification engineers at various levels to cultivate talent and enforce best practices and methodologies throughout the organization.
- Represent the company at industry forums, contribute to standards development, and work with EDA tool vendors to shape future verification technologies.
- Set verification metrics and quality standards organization-wide to guarantee design precision and reliability.
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Expert-level proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM to architect sophisticated verification environments tailored for Edge AI design classes.
- Strong capability in defining verification strategies that promote coverage-driven techniques and ensure verification completion across various product lines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital SOC design principles, including processor, interconnect/fabric, AHB/AXI protocols, memory, security, boot sequences, and both high and low-speed peripherals, with demonstrated success implementing innovative verification approaches.
- Exceptional debugging skills at RTL, system levels, and gate-level simulations to solve complex verification problems across design abstractions.
- Track record of developing cutting-edge verification methodologies to advance industry standards.
- Proven leadership in influencing verification practices across organizations, mentoring engineering teams, and fostering methodology adoption through expertise.
- Superior analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities to tackle significantly impactful verification issues spanning multiple product lines.
Preferred Qualifications and Background:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical disciplines.
- Over 15 years of experience in verification of complex digital SOC designs.
- Experience managing verification teams or spearheading large-scale verification programs.
