About the Role and Company
NVIDIA is at the forefront of AI computing and graphics technology, revolutionizing fields from entertainment to autonomous vehicles. We seek a passionate Verification Engineer to join our ASIC Verification team, contributing to the functional verification of next-generation GPU control subsystems across various cutting-edge products, including consumer graphics, self-driving cars, and AI platforms.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a core member of the ASIC Verification group, verifying GPU graphics and compute features at the IP level.
- Develop and execute verification plans covering design, micro-architecture, and golden models using advanced methodologies and tools.
- Ensure thorough functional and code coverage of the targeted RTL modules.
- Collaborate with hardware architects and designers to align implementation strategies and verification objectives.
- Design and build verification infrastructure supporting comprehensive design correctness validation.
- Engage cross-functionally with architects, designers, and verification peers to achieve project goals.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech or M.Tech degree with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience in verification engineering.
- Proficiency with Verilog, C++, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience performing verification at unit, sub-system, or SoC levels.
- Working knowledge of simulation and debug tools such as VCS, Debussy, and GDB.
- Solid understanding of computer architecture fundamentals.
- Preferably familiar with SystemVerilog or equivalent hardware verification languages and methodologies like UVM or VMM.
- Experience using industry-standard verification and debugging tools.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with 3D graphics processing or processor verification.
- Advanced programming skills in C and C++.
- Competence with scripting and tool development using Perl and Python.
- Strong debugging capabilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset.
