Role Overview

The Senior Technical Program Manager at NVIDIA AI acts as a critical link between strategic planning, execution, and technical alignment. This position oversees intricate programs from start to finish with a focus on multimedia technologies encompassing audio and video.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and oversee multimedia projects ensuring all deadlines, milestones, and quality metrics are achieved, including managing release processes and post-launch enhancements.
• Regularly update and refine program plans to maintain focus and guarantee fulfillment of commitments.
• Develop and track metrics to measure project execution efficiency and overall program health.
• Dive deep into product architecture and collaborate with engineering to resolve technical challenges and optimize designs.
• Effectively communicate decisions, statuses, and risks to stakeholders and customers at all levels, fostering trust and collaboration across multiple teams.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, facilitate root cause analyses, corrective actions, and ensure resolution of issues to avoid schedule delays or budget overruns.
• Deliver tailored and clear communication of complex data and information for diverse audiences and senior management to enable informed decision-making.
• Manage complex initiatives that significantly impact business outcomes, combining extensive technical knowledge with advanced program management to influence strategic choices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related domain; Master's degree preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in technical program management or similar roles with demonstrated success leading large-scale programs.
• Strong technical proficiency in software and hardware development life cycles, system architecture, and design methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence and experience with Agile and Product Life Cycle methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, combined with strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership skills including the ability to influence teams without formal authority and to balance immediate execution demands with strategic enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of multimedia technologies including audio/video frameworks, codecs, streaming protocols, synchronization, drivers, firmware, and OS integration.
• Experience with AI-driven assistants or copilots in program and engineering management tools integration.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks, deep learning techniques, and advanced AI tools.
• Capability to implement or enhance automation leveraging AI technologies to boost program efficiency.
• Background in areas such as artificial intelligence, GPU computing, or high-performance computing environments.
