Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized support for daily living tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, personal hygiene, and transportation
• Encourage participation in social and community activities like shopping and events
• Assist individuals in accomplishing personal objectives and recognize their achievements
• Promote autonomy, choice, and self-advocacy
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, activities, and client progress
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality support

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Pass mandatory background checks and complete required training
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with valid insurance (primary or secondary)
• Able to work safely and respectfully within clients' homes and community settings
• Demonstrate compassion, dependability, and a commitment to making a positive difference

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism, including familiarity with Individual Activity Support Plans and Plans of Service and Supports
• Knowledge of basic behavior-support techniques such as redirection, visual prompts, and environmental adaptations
