Digital Risk & Threat Intelligence Manager (f/m/d)

Position Overview

PwC Germany is seeking a Digital Risk & Threat Intelligence Manager to join their Risk & Regulatory division starting October 1, 2026. This role involves leading activities in deep and dark web monitoring, evaluating emerging cyber threats, assessing threat actor behaviors, and identifying potential data exposures. The role requires translating complex intelligence into actionable guidance for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee deep and dark web surveillance efforts to spot new cyber threats and behaviors of malicious actors.
• Analyze advanced threat intelligence and cybercrime trends to produce detailed intelligence reports and formulate mitigation tactics tailored for client environments.
• Collaborate closely with teams specializing in incident response, digital forensics, legal counsel, and clients to facilitate cyber investigations and support effective incident resolution.
• Continuously advance dark web monitoring frameworks by developing new methodologies, operational protocols, and client-facing materials.
• Provide mentorship to team members, cooperate with PwC network firms internationally, and contribute thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, and conference talks to enhance the Threat Intelligence practice.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline, complemented by certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC.
• Possesses a minimum of five years of professional experience in cybersecurity, specifically within threat intelligence, dark web operations, or cyber investigations.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of deep and dark web environments, including TOR, I2P, online marketplaces, forums, cryptocurrency transactions, and tracking threat actor activity.
• Experienced in using OSINT tools, Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs), and dark net monitoring technologies.
• Exhibits excellent English communication skills with strong analytical, investigative, and reporting aptitude.
