Job description
Position Overview
Join our Audit and Audit-related Consulting division as an Expert in Tax Accounting at the earliest opportunity. You'll become a key contributor within our Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on Tax Accounting, collaborating with seasoned colleagues and taking responsibility for projects involving national and international accounting standards with emphasis on tax accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in audits by supporting teams in examining tax positions as part of annual and consolidated financial statement audits.
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, impart your expert knowledge in training sessions related to tax accounting.
- Contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence-based auditing methods within the Tax Accounting CoE.
- Exercise creativity and influence the future strategic direction of the CoE by actively shaping its development.
Candidate Profile
- Completed or near-completed degree in Economics with a focus on Accounting, Auditing, or Taxation, or a comparable field.
- Solid knowledge of international accounting standards, particularly IFRS.
- Strong interest in issues related to international accounting intersecting with national and international tax laws.
- Analytical mindset, teamwork orientation, and preference for structured work methods.
- Fluent proficiency in both German and English, spoken and written.
