Dietary Aide

Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food by chopping vegetables and making salads.
• Serve meals to residents adhering to their dietary restrictions and designated portions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen tools, utensils, and eating areas.
• Comply with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Engage positively with residents, colleagues, and visitors to deliver guest-worthy service.
• Execute additional tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in food service or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Capability to follow directions and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Uphold a constructive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, administration, and company leadership.
• Adherence to COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, or walk for prolonged durations.
• Capable of performing repetitive routine tasks continuously.
• Comfortable working near food and cleaning chemicals.
• Possession of valid ServSafe or Food Handler certification according to local regulations.
• Residence within the service area is necessary.
