About the Role

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Floor Tech to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of floors within a long-term care environment. This position is pivotal in sustaining a hygienic and visually appealing space for residents, staff, and visitors. Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay rate for this role is $16.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor care such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing across resident rooms, communal areas, and offices.
• Utilize floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep detailed records of floor care operations and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precaution protocols to maintain sanitation standards.
• Provide courteous and professional interaction with residents, staff, and guests to deliver excellent service.
• Execute other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience with floor care tasks is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Maintain a positive demeanor and communicate effectively with facility occupants, management, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights up to 50 pounds, as well as stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to perform routine, repetitive duties consistently.
• Willingness to work around food substances and various cleaning agents.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
• Must reside within the designated service area.
