Job Overview

Vrinda International seeks a skilled Diamond & Polki Grader for its Jaipur City and Sitapura offices. Candidates should possess 4 to 9 years of professional experience and be prepared for face-to-face interviews. Compensation will align with industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess diamonds according to the 4Cs: Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat Weight.
• Examine diamonds for inclusions, blemishes, symmetry, proportions, and overall quality.
• Evaluate Polki stones based on their colour, clarity, shape, size, and visual appeal.
• Discern natural, treated, and synthetic or lab-created stones.
• Inspect jewellery pieces to ensure quality, uniformity, and identify defects.
• Precisely measure and document stone characteristics and specifications.
• Maintain grading logs and quality assurance documentation.
• Collaborate closely with teams in production, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality control.
• Assist in the final quality inspection of completed jewellery items.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge in grading and identifying diamonds.
• Solid understanding of Polki diamonds and conventional Polki jewellery styles.
• Familiarity with diamond shapes, cuts, colours, clarity levels, and common treatments.
• Strong observational skills, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Understanding of jewellery-related terminology.
• Basic computer literacy coupled with effective communication abilities.
