DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will work on creating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CDK or Terraform, ensuring repeatable deployments across multiple availability zones, and establishing robust backup and recovery solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline application delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform frameworks.
• Construct reliable and repeatable multi-Availability Zone (AZ) deployment architectures.
• Establish systems for backup and restore processes to ensure data integrity.
• Create and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines for continuous software integration and deployment.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency with AWS CDK or Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience designing and managing multi-AZ deployments to ensure high availability.
• Understanding of backup and restoration strategies in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with AWS CodePipeline and/or GitHub Actions tools.

Expected Skills and Expertise

• Strong background in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions for automation orchestration.
• Solid grasp of cloud security principles, IAM configurations, network design, monitoring practices, and deployment best practices.
• Capability to automate infrastructure provisioning, application releases, and operational workflows efficiently.
