Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and inquisitive DevOps Engineer experienced in designing, building, and managing scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include ensuring system performance, security, compliance, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and sustain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS and possibly other cloud platforms.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Create and refine CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
- Automate build, deployment, and operational processes.
- Uphold infrastructure security standards, covering containers, application dependencies, firewalls, service meshes, and Terraform configurations.
- Participate in on-call rotations, mainly during daytime hours.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering; relevant software engineering experience may partially substitute this.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
- Deep understanding of cloud services, primarily AWS (or equivalent experience with other cloud providers).
- Experience initiating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
- Coding ability in at least one programming language such as Go, JavaScript, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and infrastructure monitoring methodologies.
- Experience in AI-driven development and debugging is a plus.
