Detailer (Flat Rate)

Position Overview

Teph Seal Auto Appearance is seeking dedicated detailers to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on excellent customer service and high-quality vehicle care. Opportunities are available for both entry-level (Detail Specialist 1) and experienced professionals (Detail Specialist 2 with over 2 years of experience).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain store facilities ensuring service quality standards are met.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through courteous interactions and prompt response to inquiries or complaints.
• Detail vehicles by thoroughly washing, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, and cleaning upholstery and surfaces.
• Apply preservation treatments to protect interiors against spots and stains using dyes, paints, and waxes as needed.
• Remove grease and clean engine compartments when required.
• Operate buffing machines and air compressors safely following OSHA-approved protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Working Conditions

• Physically demanding tasks including bending, lifting, squatting, and frequent vehicle entry and exit.
• Work may occur outdoors with exposure to different climate conditions.
• Regular handling and movement of multiple vehicles throughout shifts.
• Use of safe cleaning chemicals like window cleaners, tar removers, and tire shine products.
• Frequent flexing of spine, hands, wrists, and fingers; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must have clear vision and hearing to detect minor imperfections and quality inspect personal and teammates' work.
• Adhere strictly to uniform and grooming standards while working urgently to respect customers' time.

• Punctuality and task focus during work hours.
• Capability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed to meet production goals.
