Detailer (Flat Rate)

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated Detail Specialists to join our fast-paced flat rate detail shop. The roles available include Detail Specialist 1 requiring some prior experience and Detail Specialist 2 for candidates with over 2 years of detailing experience. You will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and appearance of vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the smooth operation of the store's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle detailing tasks including washing exteriors with various solutions, waxing, buffing using machines and cloths, vacuuming interiors, and cleaning upholstery and surfaces.
• Apply preservation chemicals to protect vehicle surfaces and may use dyes, paints, or wax to maintain leather or fabric finishes.
• Clean and degrease engines or engine compartments as needed.
• Interact courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and quick responses to inquiries or complaints.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and follow safety protocols using OSHA approved products.
• Be flexible and willing to take on additional duties as required by management to meet operational demands.

Working Conditions

• This job demands frequent physical activities such as bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), squatting, and frequently entering and exiting vehicles throughout shifts.
• Work outdoors under varying weather conditions is required.
• Must handle multiple vehicles daily with attention to detail to recognize even minor imperfections like streaks or missed cleaning spots.
• Maintain clear communication and adhere to uniform and grooming standards strictly.

Candidate Profile

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Quick learner with strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Respect and care for customer vehicles, committed to punctuality and staying focused during shifts.
• Available to work weekends and holidays as needed to support production.
