Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance boundary scan, MBIST, test logic insertion, and JTAG methodologies.
• Develop and validate scanning ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation) and compression approaches.
• Perform Design For Test (DFT) and post-gate simulation to verify design resilience.
• Create and enforce DFT-related constraints to enable efficient test processes.
• Produce and apply suitable test patterns, collaborating closely with the test team for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) debugging.
• Leverage EDA tools like Tessent to improve testing workflows and effectiveness.
• Offer technical leadership and mentor junior engineers within the team.

Qualifications and Success Factors

• Educational credentials including Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of eight years of pertinent industry experience.
• Proficient in synthesis tools such as Synopsys Genus or Design Compiler.
• Experience partnering with designers to formulate thorough test plans and strategies.
• Track record of collaborating with implementation teams to insert DFT elements and effectively resolve timing or congestion issues related to DFT.
• Highly motivated professional with strong attention to detail.
