About the Role
At Lidl Ireland, our mission from the Head Office to each store is to ensure every customer experiences an outstanding shopping journey. We seek individuals who lead by example to join our team as Deputy Store Managers in Glanmire, Cork.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in managing daily store operations effectively.
- Adopt a target-focused approach to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Motivate, guide, and support the store staff to foster team development.
- Maintain high standards of shop floor presentation and cleanliness.
- Ensure stock levels are adequately maintained at all times.
- Continuously deliver excellent customer service to maintain satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Completion of Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a management role within a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of a full, valid driving licence.
- Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment focused on target achievement and deadline management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness and flexibility to work varied shift patterns.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager is desirable but not compulsory, provided the attitude is positive and proactive.
Compensation and Benefits

- Starting salary of €51,000, increasing to €60,000 after three years of service.
