Role Overview

At Cognition, customer success is paramount. As a Deployed Engineer (DE), you will serve as a technical authority directly engaging with customers to maximize the benefits they derive from Devin. You will lead technical elements throughout the pre-sales journey, including designing impactful product demonstrations, managing pilot programs, and collaborating closely with customer engineering teams to pinpoint and delegate appropriate use cases for Devin. Beyond onboarding, you will create and conduct ongoing training sessions and develop enablement materials that empower customers to deploy Devin broadly across their engineering workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all technical components of the customer lifecycle—from deployment to activation—ensuring user success with Devin.
• Collaborate intimately with customers to understand their technical challenges and identify optimal Devin use cases.
• Establish strong partnerships with engineering teams within customer organizations to facilitate seamless product integration, accelerate adoption, and drive usage among top users.
• Continuously build and improve! Incorporate customer feedback by prioritizing feature development and represent customer interests within internal teams.
• Provide expert guidance on product strategy by leveraging customer insights to help shape the roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• Demonstrated success with enterprise deployments in go-to-market or forward deployed engineering positions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of discussing complex technical subjects with varied customer roles and seniority.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a willingness to rapidly expand your scope and responsibilities.
• Proven aptitude for quick and effective learning.
