Job description
Role Overview
As a full-time Department Manager at a leading fashion retailer, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Through fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment focused on growth and innovation, you will help both your team and the business flourish. Acting in alignment with company values, you will drive success by managing operations, sales, and visual standards within your department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead your department to ensure excellent operational efficiency and appealing merchandising, actively promoting and selling products to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Analyze sales metrics, identify opportunities for growth, set targets, and implement plans to optimize results, profitability, and inventory levels.
- Oversee team scheduling and ensure smooth execution of opening and closing procedures.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop team members while cultivating a culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and continual improvement.
- Keep abreast of current fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitors to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Maintain a positive brand representation through all customer interactions.
Work Environment
Our stores are central to delivering our brand promise. As part of an energetic Store Team, you will interact with various roles including Sales Advisors, Store and Assistant Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, and other specialized store staff. Collaboration extends beyond individual stores to our Area Team, sharing insights and driving collective success to create a welcoming, trend-forward space for our customers.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in retail management and operational leadership.
- Strong leadership abilities with enthusiasm for coaching and nurturing team talent, embodying company values and culture.
- Proficient in sales planning, analysis, and performance follow-up using customer-centric tools and reports.
- Confident, ethical leaders who inspire and develop their teams effectively.
- Thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Passionate about creating memorable customer experiences while promoting products.
- Interest in fashion trends, commercial aspects, and competitive market insights to boost sales.
