About the Role
Referment is collaborating with a B2B software provider whose AI-driven platform optimizes communication and workflow processes within maritime and global trade sectors. The Delivery Engineer plays a key technical role within the Delivery team, serving as the primary hands-on expert responsible for resolving technical challenges during semi-customized customer implementations. Unlike managing project schedules or customer portfolios, this role focuses on enabling Delivery Managers by configuring solutions, troubleshooting integrations, and converting frequent fixes into reusable tools or capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and solve configuration, tagging, workflow, and integration problems that could hinder customer deployments.
- Implement agreed-upon project scopes into functional builds involving email, vendor management systems (VMS), APIs, and other third-party integrations.
- Identify issues solvable within Delivery and escalate valid product or engineering problems with clear, reproducible details for resolution.
- Evaluate active workflows, redesign inefficient configurations, and develop comprehensive playbooks, templates, scripts, and automation tools.
- Collaborate closely with customer IT and operations teams as well as internal Delivery, Customer Success, and Engineering groups.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years’ experience in customer-facing roles such as solutions engineering, implementation, integration, or professional services within the B2B software domain.
- Proven expertise in enterprise software configuration, practical use of APIs, data-mapping techniques, and third-party system integrations.
- Strong analytical skills to conduct discovery sessions and design solutions tailored to actual user workflows.
- Trusted by both technical and operational stakeholders, preferably with experience in maritime, shipping, commodities, or logistics industries.
Additional Skills
Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID or Microsoft Graph is advantageous but not mandatory; the role prioritizes a flexible engineer with a delivery-focused approach.
