Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

Referment is collaborating with a fintech firm to recruit a Senior Frontend Engineer for their product engineering group. You'll be responsible for consumer-facing applications where usability, speed, and security critically impact users' experience managing their finances.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhance existing user interfaces throughout the company's consumer applications.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate product requirements into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Prioritize performance optimization and security considerations while maintaining clean, sustainable code standards.
• Conduct peer code reviews and disseminate technical expertise among team members.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of five years experience in software engineering, including at least two years focused on JavaScript development.
• Proficient in constructing complex web applications using React or similar frontend frameworks.
• Capable of articulating technical decisions clearly and adapting quickly to new technologies or tools as needed.
• A keen interest in both the aesthetics and dependable functionality of user interfaces.

Desirable Additional Skills

• Background in UX design or contributions to open-source projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with React Native, Angular, and GraphQL/Relay is present in the environment but not required for all applicants.
