About The Role
Delivery Drivers at GSF Car Parts play an essential role as representatives of the company by delivering automotive parts to customers and consistently providing outstanding service. They gather customer feedback to help improve service and ensure deliveries meet scheduled timing.
Driving success as part of a high-performing team, drivers support the brand by interacting positively with customers throughout each delivery.
Main Responsibilities
- Execute deliveries of products to customer locations within a 40-mile radius of the branch
- Maintain excellent customer service standards at all times
- Report pertinent customer and competitor observations back to the branch
- Load the delivery vehicle in accordance with company procedures
- Process customer returns as necessary
- Perform daily vehicle checks and upkeep maintenance
- Provide assistance in the warehouse when required
- Support inter-branch transfer deliveries as needed
Working Hours
Work approximately 41 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with alternate Saturdays also scheduled.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Have at least 3 years of driving experience
- Have solid knowledge of the delivery area within a 40-mile radius from the branch location
- Previous work experience as a delivery driver is essential
- Commit to delivering excellent customer service consistently
- Demonstrate reliability through timely deliveries and punctuality
- Be customer-oriented, motivated, and willing to go beyond expectations
