Role Overview
As an essential member of GSF Car Parts, the Delivery Driver represents the company by ensuring timely delivery of automotive parts and maintaining outstanding customer service throughout every interaction. This role supports the organization’s overall performance and brand reputation by efficiently delivering goods and communicating valuable customer insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers within a 40-mile radius of the branch location.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards during all deliveries.
- Provide feedback to the branch on customer and competitive market activities.
- Load delivery vehicles in accordance with established procedures.
- Collect product returns from customers as needed.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Assist in warehouse duties when required.
- Support inter-branch transfer deliveries as necessary.
Working Hours
Average of 41 hours per week from Monday to Friday, including working alternate Saturdays.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a valid full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
- At least three years of driving experience.
- Strong familiarity with the branch’s 40-mile delivery radius.
- Previous experience in a delivery driver position is essential.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service standards.
- Reliable time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Customer-oriented mindset, motivated to exceed expectations.
