About the Company

IIQAF Group, operating in the hospitality sector and based in Ontario, Canada, is recruiting a dependable and safety-minded Delivery Driver. This role is essential to supporting our logistics and delivery operations throughout the region.

Job Overview

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely and secure transportation of diverse items including food, beverages, catering orders, hospitality supplies, packages, and documents to and from multiple hospitality venues such as restaurants, hotels, catering services, warehouses, suppliers, and client locations across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport various items such as food, beverages, catering orders, and hospitality materials safely and punctually.
• Collect orders and supplies from restaurants, hotels, warehouses, catering centers, and suppliers.
• Deliver orders with accuracy and on schedule to customers, hospitality venues, offices, residences, and events.
• Cross-check orders against delivery notes, invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and dispatch instructions.
• Confirm delivery addresses, customer details, order references, and any specific instructions prior to departure.
• Utilize GPS, Google Maps, and specialized route planning tools to design the most efficient delivery routes.
• Handle approved payment transactions via cash, card, or electronic methods when necessary.
• Maintain precise records of monetary collections, delivery expenses, and completed transactions.
• Manage returned, cancelled, rejected, or undeliverable orders following company procedures.
• Perform additional logistics and operational support tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferably possess a high school diploma or an equivalent certification.
• Hold a valid Ontario driver's license suitable for the delivery vehicle assigned.
• Maintain a clean or company-acceptable driving record in line with insurance standards.
• Previous experience in delivery roles such as Delivery Driver, Courier Driver, Food Delivery, Route Driver, or Logistics Driver is required.
• Background in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, catering, food delivery, retail, courier, or logistics fields is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Ontario’s roadways, highways, common routes, and traffic patterns.
• Capable of navigating with GPS, Google Maps, navigation apps, and delivery management systems.
• Exhibit great attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, responsibility, and professionalism.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality and delivery environment.
• Open to working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shift work as demanded.
