Delivery Driver

Job Overview

The Local Delivery Driver at The Restaurant Store is tasked with efficiently loading and transporting customer orders within the local vicinity. This position requires maintaining exceptional customer service standards while navigating predetermined delivery routes and performing all duties related to threshold-level delivery services.

Additional Duties

During periods with no active delivery assignments, the driver will also support in-store operations by assisting with daily material handling tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Systematically organizing and loading orders into the delivery vehicle.
• Executing morning and afternoon delivery circuits.
• Engaging politely and professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Referring customer inquiries appropriately to sales team members.
• Keeping the delivery van clean and orderly.

Physical Demands

• The role involves standing and walking tasks, sometimes up to nine hours per day.
• Effective verbal communication, vision, and hearing abilities are essential.
• Regular use of hands for grasping and detailed manipulation is required.
• Tasks include frequent bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium-heavy loads up to 50 pounds consistently.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possession of a Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• This position does not require academic qualifications; relevant skills, experience, and alignment with company values are prioritized.
