Join poltronesofà UK as a crucial member of our Distribution Department based at the Bridgend Distribution Centre. This full-time position offers a salary of £29,158.77 per year and the opportunity to contribute to a company that values dedication and customer happiness.
Role Description
As part of our delivery crew, you will assist the Delivery Driver with loading, unloading, and delivering furniture into customers’ homes. Your tasks will include following the delivery schedule which involves multiple drops each day and supporting vehicle loading operations. You'll contribute to customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and ensuring safe and quality delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver and assemble furniture at customers’ premises.
- Assist Delivery Driver in managing the daily delivery schedule.
- Participate in loading and unloading furniture at the distribution center.
- Offer outstanding customer service and solicit feedback.
- Conduct safety and quality checks to maintain team safety standards.
- Perform heavy lifting as part of manual handling requirements.
- Work 46 hours across 4 days weekly with Sundays off.
Candidate Profile
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adherence to established processes and procedures.
- Committed to delivering highest customer satisfaction.
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor including heavy lifting.
- Reliable and hardworking team player.
- Experience in warehouse settings is advantageous.
- Possession of a driving license is a plus.
