Data Quality Transformation Specialist

Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Data Quality Transformation Specialist with 8-14 years of expertise to lead modernization efforts within the Data Quality (DQ) domain. This position is based in Bangalore or Chennai and focuses on transforming and digitizing manual processes related to metadata management and business terminology, while working closely with technical teams to improve existing tools and frameworks.

Primary Duties

• Lead initiatives aimed at modernizing the Data Quality ecosystem.
• Automate and digitize activities to minimize manual processing within DQ operations.
• Oversee and enhance metadata frameworks, including business glossaries and definitions.
• Create, standardize, and maintain business terms and rules governing data quality.
• Work collaboratively with technology teams to advance tools such as Rosetta and DQMA.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve efficiencies.
• Facilitate the implementation of best practices in data governance and quality management.
• Engage stakeholders across business and technology sectors to align DQ initiatives with corporate objectives.

Required Experience and Skills

• 8 to 14 years of relevant experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or related fields.
• Profound knowledge of metadata management and frameworks for business glossaries.
• Hands-on experience with Data Quality software like Rosetta, DQMA, or equivalent platforms.
• Proven track record of leading digitization and transformation-related projects.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, bridging business and technology.
• Outstanding communication skills and proficiency in stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in financial services or consultancy settings.
• Understanding of data governance structures and relevant regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with automation technologies and foundational data engineering concepts.
