Data Quality Consultant - BCBS239 Compliance

Role Summary

We are seeking seasoned Data Quality consultants with substantial experience to join our team and contribute towards a critical regulatory compliance program centered on BCBS239 guidelines. This position involves executing remediation and transformation initiatives designed to elevate data quality standards and ensure full compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement remediation and transformation actions in line with the Data Quality Remediation & Transformation Plan (RTP) to meet BCBS239 requirements.
• Lead projects aimed at achieving comprehensive BCBS239 regulatory compliance.
• Conduct thorough discovery and assessment of processes identified as high risk for data quality.
• Identify gaps from RTP assessments and manage their resolution efforts.
• Support the rollout and adoption of Data Quality Management Standard version 2.0.
• Collaborate closely with both business and IT teams to advance and enhance data quality technologies such as Rosetta and DQMA.
• Champion digital transformation efforts to automate and streamline data quality and metadata management tasks.
• Establish and harmonize business terminology, data definitions, and data quality rules consistently across the organization.
• Provide data-driven insights to elevate governance policies, operational controls, and overall process efficiency.

Experience and Skills Required

• 8 to 14 years of relevant experience in areas such as data quality management, data governance, or regulatory data oversight.
• Deep understanding of data quality methodologies including framework implementation and lifecycle management.
• Proven track record delivering RTP activities, gap assessments, and remediation strategies.
• Practical experience managing metadata and maintaining business glossaries.
• Familiarity with data quality tools like Rosetta, DQMA, or comparable solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting capabilities combined with excellent analytical and communication proficiency.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience working with BCBS239 or similar regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Extensive domain knowledge in financial services related to data quality.
• Background in data transformation projects and experience driving digitization of data management functions.
