Data Governance Developer

Overview

The Data Governance Developer role involves creating, managing, and supporting master and reference data solutions using the TIBCO EBX platform. This includes developing Java-based custom components, designing data models, automating workflows, and managing integrations. The position also encompasses leading platform upgrades and handling the division-specific separation of the EBX environment while ensuring top-notch, secure, and governed master data delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, implement, and maintain TIBCO EBX data management solutions.
• Conduct platform upgrades, migrations, and execute the divisional separation of the EBX environment.
• Build, implement, and monitor data quality controls within data management frameworks.
• Maintain and support the EBX infrastructure, manage environments, CI/CD pipelines, and handle release processes.
• Collaborate and establish productive relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and ICT teams to ensure effective solution delivery and ongoing support.
• Ensure all data management solutions adhere to data governance, security, and architectural standards.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of specialized Java development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with TIBCO EBX or a similar Master Data Management platform.
• Between 5 to 8 years of experience in data management, focusing on master and reference data.

Preferred Experience

• Practical experience with TIBCO EBX version 6.x, including migrations and upgrades.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially Azure, along with CI/CD pipelines and LDAP/SSO integration.
• Relevant exposure to server administration and experience within the healthcare sector.

Educational Background

• Essential: A three-year degree or diploma in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related ICT discipline.
• Preferred: Certifications in Java programming and TIBCO EBX.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in Java programming aligned with current platform versions.
• Expertise in TIBCO EBX development including crafting data models, workflows, add-ons, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design pattern best practices.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically GIT.
• Competence working with SQL and relational database management systems.
• Knowledge of web services and system integrations using REST and SOAP protocols.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment automation techniques.
• Expertise in Master and Reference Data Management concepts.
• Understanding and implementation of data quality principles and control measures.
• Comfort with Agile methodologies and techniques.
• Capability to consistently deliver results and fulfill client expectations.
• Experience configuring LDAP/SSO and role-based security mechanisms.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure environments, especially Microsoft Azure.
