Data Entry Operator

Job Overview

Ruchika Decor LLP is looking for a precise and efficient Tally Data Operator to become a part of their accounting team based in Kolkata. The chosen candidate will handle accurate financial data entry, bookkeeping, and support finance-related administrative tasks.

Main Duties

• Record daily financial activities such as sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries into the Tally system.
• Manage and reconcile accounts receivable and payable ledgers to maintain accuracy.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliation statements to monitor cash flows properly.
• Create and verify sales invoices and delivery challans and ensure they are sent to clients timely.
• Support taxation processes by preparing data for monthly GST returns (including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B) and tracking tax deducted at source (TDS).
• Organize and file both paper and electronic financial documentation systematically.
• Compile basic financial summaries, reports, and outstanding payment lists for supervisory review.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a similar discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime software, combined with working knowledge of MS Excel features like VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• At least one year of practical exposure in data entry or accounts-related roles.
• Strong command of Bengali and Hindi languages with basic English communication skills.
• Exceptional numerical accuracy and speed, keen attention to details, and ability to adhere to deadlines.
