In this role, you will be instrumental in constructing and managing data pipelines that facilitate smooth data integration and processing across different platforms. Collaboration with data analysts and scientists ensures data accessibility, reliability, and proper structuring for effective analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and maintain ETL workflows leveraging Talend to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and comprehend data integration needs, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
• Apply data validation and quality assurance methods to uphold data integrity.
• Enhance pipeline performance and scalability for efficient data handling.
• Oversee data transmission processes and troubleshoot any issues related to data quality or processing.
• Maintain thorough documentation of data architecture, ETL pipelines, and data lineage to support team knowledge sharing.
• Keep abreast of current best practices and innovations in data engineering, particularly related to Talend and associated technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer with a concentrated expertise in Talend.
• Proficient in the design and execution of ETL processes utilizing Talend integration tools.
• Strong knowledge of database systems, SQL querying, and data warehousing principles.
• Experienced in data modeling and adept at database design standards.
• Excellent analytical capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure is advantageous.
• Effective communicator capable of partnering with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, capable of independent and collaborative work environments.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and data security measures.
