Job description
Purpose of Role
The Additional Facilities Engineer position aims to bolster existing facilities teams by offering technical, operational, and project assistance. Primary responsibilities include creating and maintaining operational documentation, managing change control processes, providing technical input for ongoing projects, and delivering on-site support for project activities to ensure seamless integration into live facility operations and compliance with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Change Control Forms (CCFs) effectively, preparing and reviewing documents that inform customers about upcoming activities.
- Detail scope, impact assessments, risks, mitigation strategies, schedules, and rollback plans within CCFs.
- Liaise with internal operations, project teams, and customers to coordinate CCF submissions and track necessary approvals before work commencement.
- Develop and update Methods of Procedure (MOPs) aligning with operational standards, OEM guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Prepare final documentation to facilitate smooth operational acceptance and handover.
- Provide technical expertise during project planning and execution, reviewing contractor submissions including method statements, technical drawings, and installation/testing approaches.
- Identify and communicate any operational or safety risks associated with project activities.
- Support project managers by resolving technical queries and site issues.
- Attend site projects as needed to support installations, oversee testing, validate compliance with approved procedures, and ensure contractor adherence to approved documentation.
- Coordinate technical communications among facilities operations, site project teams, contractors, and customers.
- Ensure compliance with change management procedures, safety, permits, and operational standards.
- Support audit processes, readiness reviews, and operational assurance as required.
Skills & Experience Required
- In-depth knowledge of critical facilities management and operation of live environments.
- Experience in preparing MOPs, managing change controls, and supporting live site works/projects.
- Strong risk assessment capabilities with clear communication of technical and operational impacts.
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure alignment between operational and project teams.

Scope Clarification
